Reporting to the Southern Europe Finance Manager based out of the Barcelona Office, the Accounting Chief will be responsible to oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including supervising the accounting staff. Monitor operating and accounting procedures, as well as general ledger account reconciliations, prepare the balance sheet, and financial analysis in a multinational corporate environment.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Implement, and monitor operating and accounting procedures to ensure company policy affecting financial matters are observed and assets registered.
2. Timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
3. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closings with respected deadline
4. Perform General Accounting functions, such as conducting variance analyses on general ledger and miscellaneous accounts, resolving discrepancies, monthly account reconciliation and matching points, financial and fixed asset schedules, booking of accruals, monthly closings, cost accounting, and preparation of month-end and general financial reports.
5. Manage the Accounts Receivable function including receiving, verifying, and checking funds customer accounts, and balancing daily and end-of-month transactions using files from back-office system.
6. Manage the Accounts Payable function with respect to generating accurate and timely loading of supplier invoices, reviewing invoices and generating payments, and balancing daily and end-of-month transactions.
7. Assist, train, coach and mentor Finance staff in coordination with the Finance Manager.
8. Manage the supplier's issues resolution.
9. Oversee and coordinate the work of the Finance staff to ensure that tasks are completed in a detailed, accurate and timely manner.
10. Work closely with department managers to ensure expenses are properly accounted for.
11. Daily liaise with external auditors and assist with the year end financial statement audits.
12. Remain informed and ensure compliance with new laws and regulations applicable to the company in the area of accounting and generally accepted accounting principles, with external assistance.
13. Prepare monthly tax filings (VAT, Corporation Tax, others taxes, etc).
14. Manage to make sure that all the bookings are recorded in the accounting system.
15. Be responsible for recording all documents impacting financial situation.
16. Assist others departments when necessary.
17. Assist FM in his RH functions and other functions such as general services.

The Senior Tour Operating Manager's primary mission is to negotiate packages to feed Voyageprive.com Spain.
In that role, he/she will be responsible for planification of the semestrial production plan, negotiate with key players (PDG or MD from different TTOOs) to get deals and operating packages every week.

The Assistant Hotels Buyer assists the Hotels Buyers team in all of their responsibilities.
His/her primary mission is to assist the Hotels Buyers Team in their negotiation with providers, in Spain and abroad, in order to contract weekly offers for insertion in our Newsletters.
His/her secondary mission will be to ensure a perfect liaison with our Production team, in charge of Newsletter and website management.
Finally, the Assistant Hotels Buyers will coordinate efforts with our Operations team in charge of fulfillment and customer service to ensure a high satisfaction level of both our customers and suppliers.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administrative / Contracting:
- Create, send and ensure follow up of all contracts with providers for each Newsletter
- Verify if offer description is respected at all stages of the production process, from contract signature to fulfillment.
- Draft production descriptions and gather mutlimedia content to provide Production team with necessary information.
- Deal extra-allotment request, overbookings and any other reservations follow up with suppliers.
2. Sales Follow-up:
- Follow-up on contacts made by the buyers in terms of Presentations, Contracts & any other information needed.
- Create and manage list of prospective destinations and providers.
- Contact providers if necessary to anticipate needs and future possible participation.
- Identify tourism fairs and provide programs and lists of interests.
3. Internal Coordination

- Retocar y cargar fotos y descriptivos de hoteles y destinos
- Redactar los titulares de las ofertas para darle la mejor visibilidad
- Encontrar las mejores fotos de nuestros destinos
- Redactar los textos descriptivos de las ofertas (traducidos de webs en otros idiomas)
- Comprobación y validación final del contenido online
Envío de la Newsletter a nuestros socios (gestión base de datos)

Bajo la supervisión del Manager de Producción,
Manejar todas las herramientas de análisis de la actividad (tráfico, ventas ...) para perfeccionar las herramientas de gestión.
En colaboración con todo el equipo, desarrollar la estrategia para optimizar todas las relaciones con el objetivo general de mejorar la tasa de conversión del sitio.
Responsabilidades principales :
Mejorar las herramientas de análisis :
• Auditoría interna para el seguimiento de la actividad .
• Evolución de los cuadros de mando para controlar la actividad existente: tráfico, ventas, rendimiento del producto...
Monitorización y Análisis de Rendimiento :
• Uso de herramientas de análisis desarrolladas, realización de un macro análisis del desempeño corporativo.
• Acotar el análisis para abordar las cuestiones identificadas en la macro.
• En colaboración con los equipos de producto, trabajar en estudios ad hoc para entender mejor nuestro negocio y perfeccionar nuestro control analítico.
Recomendaciones y optimización del proceso
• Uso de herramientas de análisis y una buena comprensión de las cuestiones de negocios, propuestas y recomendaciones de cambios de comercialización de productos e incluso para optimizar el rendimiento del sitio.
• Soporte a los equipos de producto para comprender mejor las expectativas de nuestros socios para guiar la contratación de las ofertas.
Benchmark, investigación de mercado y estudios de clientes :
• Recoger, analizar y compilar la información relativa a la industria del turismo y de ocio para un mejor pensamiento estratégico de Voyage Prive.
• Estudios piloto de reflexiones basadas en nuevos campos de investigación para Voyage Prive.
Perfil del candidato
- Estudios Superiores/Licenciado en Marketing, Administración y Dirección de Empresas o similar
- Experiencia en investigación y estadísticas online
- Dominio avanzado de Excel (tablas dinámicas y macros)
- Capacidad de análisis, pensamiento lógico
- Gran capacidad de trabajo y adaptación, disciplina, capacidad de respuesta, organización
